I'm back from the dead
Sorry it's been a while. I have no excuses, though I did fall into a coma for a while, and there was that time I got lost in the Amazon. But I'm back.
Book 3 in The God Slayers Quartet is at the editors as we speak, and I'm currently pottering with the final chapter. I found the third book very difficult to write as I needed to give some answers to a lot of the long running questions and mysteries. You'll find out a lot about the Felum and the gods themselves and most of the characters will have some sort of revelation, particularly Skye. But will they get to London? I'm not telling.

Sleeping Beauty vs Vampires
The first part of my Sleeping Beauty inspired serial is out today. The Blood Dynasty Chronicles has forbidden love, intrigue, tragedy and vampires. It took me a long time to get it finished. I actually started this in June last year. Things got in the way, though; I wrote the sequel to The Fall and the Snow White series and went on my first holiday and a dozen other things. Ashlyn Fountain's tale wanted to be told though (she was originally called Meg, then Beth) and now here she is. Feedback is greatly appreciated. This is one the of the reasons I love serials. Feedback you receive from the first few parts influence what you write later on. Things what people thought were odd about Snow White and Trip Part 1 I explained in part 6 and actually strengthened the story. The readers do have a small part in how things progress.

Bonfire night
The Sky Is Falling will be released on November 5th, which is Bonfire Night in the UK. Quite why we celebrate some bloke trying to blow up the Houses of Parliament I have no idea, but it seemed like a good date to release my new book on. I'll also probably do a giveaway competition or something at about that time as well as I'm very eager to know what people think about my new book.

A quartet is born
The God Slayers Trilogy is now...The God Slayers Quartet. I have a mass of ideas for future stories set in this world, with or without Ben (no spoilers from me I'm afraid) but I feel I need to complete Ben's story first. I suppose saying there will be more books set in this world in the future is sort of a spoiler, so no, the world doesn't get destroyed. (Anyone who's read any of my work knows I love either killing everyone off or making my characters utterly miserable). So maybe I'll do the odd prequel or too. It might actually be interesting to see the reactions of people who were alive at the time the gods starting destroying the world, or detail the lives of people living in other countries. My brain's going into overdrive now. There's so many possibilities...

Trilogy quandary
Sorry for the long delay between posts. I've been ill recently, which knocked me off track writing wise, though on the plus side I did lose a stone in weight.
The sequel to The Fall is starting to...bloom. I wanted each book in the trilogy to be fairly short, about 250 pages each. Only now I'm at 250 pages on the sequel and I still haven't gotten to the end of that book yet. This world I've created has taken on a life of its own, and there's so much to explore. I'm seriously considering extending the series from three books to six or seven. That way I can explore everything in more detail. I'm probably going to go that route anyway, but I just wanted to know what people thought.
