Interview with me
Check out Jill Swanson's blog on Monday for an interview of yours truly, as well as a book review. The rest of the blog is excellent too.

Update
All the kittens now have new homes. I decided not to keep one because I was too busy at the moment. It broke my heart but there you go.
The Sky Is Falling is now about a third complete. It's a very exhausting journey and the characters go through so many emotions. I may not get it done in time for its August 1 release so now I'm just going to say it'll be finished (appropriately enough) by the fall. I'm also buying another laptop. Computers always seem to start playing up when you really need them the most.
My new series The Blood Dynasty is also something I'm now eager to finish. I've always wanted to write something with vampires in and what I've wrote so far is really excellent. Cryogenics and vampires and romance and red skies, it's got it all.

The moon...
Anyone wondering why I have a picture of the moon in the background...well, it plays an important part in tha last two books of the trilogy. I won't say what. As River Song would say, "Spoilers, sweetie!"

The Hunger Games and my book
When I wrote The Fall two years ago I'd never actually heard of The Hunger Games. I only discovered it about a year ago but never really felt the need to read it. I'm glad I did read it; it's an excellent book, as is the sequel (I've yet to finish Mockingjay). I did notice a few, but not many similarities, to The Fall, mainly a dystopian setting set after the end of the world. I never realised how popular this genre was until I actually set out to publish my book. Boy was I surprised!
